Jessica J. Han graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1997, Ms. Han studied abroad at the prestigious Yonsei University in South Korea. Upon graduation from U.C. Berkeley, Ms. Han joined Law and Economic Consulting Group (LECG) as an Analyst. At LECG, Ms. Han performed economic and statistical research and analysis involving the pharmaceutical, tobacco, and telecommunications industry.
Ms. Han received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2003, where she served as a board member of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Association. While attending law school, Ms. Han managed "Homeless Court" and provided pro bono legal services to indigent clients at the Union Rescue Mission, one of the largest homeless shelters in the United States. Upon graduation from UCLA Law School, Ms. Han worked at the District Office of United States Congressman Xavier Becerra.
In 2007, Ms. Han was recognized by Law & Politics as a "Rising Star" among Southern California lawyers. Ms. Han is fluent in Korean.
