Kelly N. Stone graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 with a B.A. in English and Sociology, where she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Team. Ms. Stone received her J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in 2000. While at GW Law, she was a Co-President of the Law Association for Women and a Notes Editor on The Environmental Lawyer, an American Bar Association publication. Ms. Stone's student note, Technology and the Environment: Complying with the National Environmental Policy Act and Federal Communications Commission Regulations in the 21st Century was published in the June 1999 issue of The Environmental Lawyer. She also was an intern for Federal Communications Commissioner Gloria Tristani.

Prior to joining Yukevich Calfo & Cavanaugh in May 2005, Ms. Stone practiced communications law in Washington, D.C. She represented technology, wireless, cable and wireline companies before the Federal Communications Commission and the District of Columbia Circuit Court. She also advised clients on regulatory, corporate compliance, and mergers and acquisitions matters. She is admitted in California, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
